The aim of yoga is that it is meant to be practiced NOW – anywhere, anytime, under all conditions and circumstances. In my backyard, in your backyard…anywhere. Not just the physical postures, but the values of right thought/speech/action; the joyful expansion of the breath; the mental CONNECTION to the deepest part of you that is pure, loving, fearless, and divine – SPIRIT. But it’s not always easy…

Sometimes it may seem challenging in the midst of our busy, complicated lives to find this connection. A RETREAT gives us an opportunity to break away from our day-to-day surroundings and distractions for an extended period of time – longer than just a one-hour yoga class! It lets us step into a sacred space together that supports exploration of the mind-body-spirit connection through yogic practices of asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and contemplative exercises.

AUTUMN YOGA RETREAT FOR WOMEN: “Body, Mind, Spirit – Aligned”

Thu. – Sun. Sept. 27-30, 2018 at Shanti Retreat near Kingston

Join Anne on an extended weekend of personal exploration as we investigate ways to re-align not only the physical body, but the mind, the heart, and the spirit. Drawing from the wisdom of yoga, Ayurveda, mantra, meditative and contemplative practices, nature activities, and sharing of feminine energy, we will learn how to return to a more harmonious balanced state.
