About MY RETREATS

The aim of yoga is that it is meant to be practiced NOW – anywhere, anytime, under all conditions and circumstances. In my backyard, in your backyard…anywhere. Not just the physical postures, but the values of right thought/speech/action; the joyful expansion of the breath; the mental CONNECTION to the deepest part of you that is pure, loving, fearless, and divine – SPIRIT. But it’s not always easy…

Sometimes it may seem challenging in the midst of our busy, complicated lives to find this connection. A RETREAT gives us an opportunity to break away from our day-to-day surroundings and distractions for an extended period of time – longer than just a one-hour yoga class! It lets us step into a sacred space together that supports exploration of the mind-body-spirit connection through yogic practices of asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and contemplative exercises.

UPCOMING RETREATS

(*Note: to receive more info on the retreats below; send me an email and I’ll add you to my mailing list.)

“Lighten UP!” – An Autumn Yoga Retreat for Women at Shanti Retreat, Wolfe Island – Sept. 24 – 27, 2020

Unfortunately, this retreat is now cancelled and Shanti is closed for the remainder of 2020 and beyond. For those of you who have attended my retreats at Shanti in the past, you will recall the beautiful and peaceful energy of such a sacred space. The owners, Wendy and Darin, infused their property with such love and grace and their team behind the scenes was skillful at maintaining this sanctuary, so that I and other teachers could host our retreats with ease.  This retreat centre will be sadly missed. If you registered for my retreat, you will be contacted directly by Shanti staff.

Stay tuned to this space for possibilities, alternatives, and new ideas down the road for my retreats…
