About ANNE’S IN-PERSON YOGA CLASSES

Passes are for in-person classes only to give you the most flexibility in attending a class. UPDATE: Once again this winter, online classes only will be available. Back to in-person classes for Spring session 2026 then retiring!!!

And for newcomers to my classes (if you’ve never taken one from me before), I am offering one FREE drop-in for your first in-person class to try it out and see if my style resonates with you (sign the drop-in sheet with the waiver at the door but please let me know of any health issues PRIOR to taking the class).

If you choose to take an online class, the drop-in rate is $14.50 for an individual class; simply send me an e-transfer (yogaimby@gmail.com) for this option the day before the class you want to take. If you wish to know more about my online classes, click on this link:

About ANNE’S ONLINE YOGA CLASSES

TERMS:

Purchase a class pass by sending me an email with your request; payment by e-transfer.
In-person class passes expire Jun. 30, 2026.
5-class pass = $80
10-class pass = $160
1-class single drop in $20
Sign in manually “in the book” when you arrive to help me keep track.
Fees for passes are non-refundable if not used.
 IN-PERSON CLASSES AT OSGOODE COMMUNITY CENTRE (5660 Osgoode Main St.)
  • large spacious room on second floor
  • in-person classes are NOT recorded
  • public washrooms on site; ample parking
  • bring your own mat and yoga props
  • facility follows City of Ottawa cleaning and disinfection protocols
HATHA YOGA Tuesdays 9:15 am – 10:15 am (first in-person class for Fall 2025 Session is Tue. Sept. 23, 2025; last class for the Spring session is Tue. Dec. 9, 2025.) Note that class is cancelled Tue. Nov. 18, 2025.
  • Active and energizing class including movement, balance, and breath work. Suitable for people without injuries and with some experience with yoga.
YIN and GENTLE YOGA Fridays 9:15 am – 10:15 am (first in-person class for Fall 2025 Session is Fri. Sept. 26, 2025; last class for the Fall session is Fri. Dec. 12, 2025.)
  • Grounding and meditative class with mostly seated and lying-down poses held passively for up to 5 minutes during the YIN YOGA portion (usually first 1/2 hour) followed by GENTLE YOGA with movement and breath awareness. A “yin and yang” class! Suitable for newcomers to yoga, or for anyone looking for a gentler yoga class.
